Shipping
We offer free ground shipping on instruments (NOT AMPS) over $1000 to the lower 48 states. Any expedited shipping costs will be covered by the customer.
Customer pays actual shipping cost on amplifiers.
Actual shipping time is contingent upon availability of merchandise and credit verification by Sylvan Music Credit and Fraud Protection Department. Most orders are shipped within 2 business days of receiving your order. All orders are shipped via Fedex, UPS, or USPS, and when available, the tracking information will be emailed to you as soon as your product ships. We do not ship to APO’s, PO Boxes, or hotels. In the event of delays, every effort will be made to contact you by phone or e-mail.
Special Handling
Orders requiring Rush Delivery and/or Special Handling will be subject to additional special handling charges. If you would like to request special handling or rush delivery please be sure to communicate your needs to your Sylvan Music representative before placing your order. We will do our best to meet our customer’s time-sensitive needs, but we cannot be held responsible for loss or damage as a result of delinquent deliveries.
Product Returns & Refunds
Manufacturers warranty is offered only on NEW merchandise and varies by individual manufacturer’s policies. The manufacturers' warranty covers repair or replacement of defective parts, subject to the conditions set forth. On most new items, Sylvan Music offers a 48-hour (from the time of receiving) exchange/refund policy to online/phone-in/mail order customers only. If you are not satisfied with your purchase, you may return it for exchange or refund (excluding shipping, handling and merchant processing charges) within 48 hours, subject to a return authorization from Sylvan Music (except for items previously disclosed as non-returnable). All returns are subject to a 4% re-stocking fee. This fee may be waived if payment was made using bank wire transfer or cashiers check. If the condition of goods and packaging material are not 100% complete and in mint condition we reserve the right to decrease the refund amount dependent on the extent and depth of the issue. Customers must use the same shipping method that Sylvan used to ship the item (pre-paid UPS, FedEx, USPS).
For any and all returns, please call or e-mail our sales representatives at [email protected] or (831) 427-1917. All returns are subject to inspection. All exchanged/returned merchandise must be in original factory condition, including all packaging materials, inserts and manuals, warranty cards (not filled-out) and all accessories. Please do not tape or write anything on the item or the package! We will charge you for replacement of damaged, altered, missing, written-on or taped-on contents or cartons. We reserve the right to refuse any such returns.
Pack the product(s )into a shipping box with plenty of packing material, and tape securely. Any merchandise returned with packing peanuts will incur a $40 inconvenience fee. Any merchandise returned to us unauthorized will be refused. Please ship your parcel back to us freight prepaid! We suggest that you use UPS Ground Service "Insured." Sorry, we cannot accept COD or freight-collect shipments. No goods will be accepted for exchange or return without authorization.
Typographical Errors
Sylvan Music's aspires to constantly publish accurate selling prices for the products we offer. However on occasion we do make mistakes. In the event a product is listed at an incorrect price or with incorrect information due to typographical error or error in pricing or product information received from our suppliers, Sylvan Music shall have the right to refuse or cancel any orders placed for product listed at the incorrect price. Sylvan Music shall have the right to refuse or cancel any such orders whether or not the order has been confirmed and your credit card charged. If your credit card has already been charged for the purchase and your order is canceled, Sylvan Music shall immediately issue a refund to your credit card account in the amount of the charge.
